Swaraj Diaphragm Pressure Plate

A clutch disc, or friction disc, is the key component in a manual transmission that connects the engine’s power to the transmission. It’s a steel plate with friction material on its surfaces, and when engaged, it is squeezed between the engine’s flywheel and the pressure plate. This allows the disc’s central hub to spin the transmission’s input shaft, transferring torque and enabling smooth gear changes by gradually transferring engine power.
